Welcome to beautiful downtown Honolulu.
Our first stop after Starbucks was the super rad t-shirt store Blank Canvas. You choose your shirt, choose your design (All individually created by local and overseas graphic artists) and get it screen printed.
Liam chose a a print of the silent film The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.
From there we made our way to China town and the vintage store Tin can mailman. Super rad Hawaiian vintage advertisements, ceramics and for the first time I held an actual 1st print magazine run Vargas pinup. Amazing.
Lunch at Hooters on the bay waterfront.
One of the best things I have ever eaten. Deep fried pickles (with tasty dipping sauce). Highly addictive. Man I love eating pickles. They put them on everything here.
Liam got the biggest beer ever, and even after chowing down a huge Philly cheese steak sandwich with mac n' cheese, was still a little drunk and left our shopping behind when we left the restaurant. We had to run back and get it. Liam has left shopping in every country we go to. Japan- Manga comics at a coffee shop which we never got back as we did not know where we were. Hong Kong- Disney Shirt on the subway. The whole subway train had to come all the way back to deliver it to us. Liam is now band from carrying shopping.
After a super hectic day we spent a relaxed afternoon taking in the Iolani palace and King Kalakaua statue.
