A Beautiful Saturday morning and I was off to the love vintage fair in Canberra. Lucky for me I won tickets from the amazing Ji at Closet Voyage. I arrived to pick up my tickets and have a chat with fellow bloggers Nurie (What Nurie Wore) and Ji.
First off I met the beautiful Heidi of Le Vintage Culture. Her business has only been up and running since December specializing in kitsch, rockabilly and retro wear. My favourite was the tiki wiggle dress and Buck Rodgers business card holder.
More amazing wiggle dresses from Le Vintage Culture and Caitlin in her awesome fur hat. As soon as saw how amazing she looked I had to stop her for a photo.
After a busy morning of browsing it was time to learn some vintage hair and makeup techniques. If only I could curl my hair like these girls.
Ran into my rad friends Kate and Chris who were busy taking in the many sights and sounds of the fair.
This amazing tiki pole was carved by one of the rad store holders here. Man I wish I had those skills.
It frustrated me how much people charged for vintage clothing. I know it is a whole industry that supports many people, but the prices take all the fun out of it for us normal folk.
Apart from the prices I had a great time. I saw some amazing dresses and met some amazing people. Can't wait for next years market.
