Lately I have been missing Japan like crazy. It has been over 3 years since I have been there. It was the best place I have ever traveled to. I loved the people, loud cities and beautiful mountains and the fashion.
We sat at this cafe in our hotel every morning we were in Tokyo. I loved watching the hundreds of people cross the street with their umbrellas all at once. Breathtaking. At the Shinagawa Prince east is where I was proposed to, so this particular place will forever be in my heart.
I miss the cute noises all the trains made and the cute ladies voice informing me about everything the train was doing. Their public transport is the cleanest, cheapest and most efficient I've ever used.
I miss our host family the Tanaka's and the exchange students Garbol and Dan we stayed with in Kyoto . Such caring people. They made me exercise by walking up to this massive shrine and I am eternally grateful for the experience.
I miss discovering things by random. Here we were in a place called America town in Osaka. Everything was influenced by American pop culture. They even had a mini statue of liberty. I loved the fashion and the fast pace of Osaka.
The view from our last day in Tokyo and in Japan. Still to this day this photo holds so much emotion. I never wanted to leave. Such a perfect place.
And by far my favorite part of the trip. When I was a little girl I dreamed of one day having my photo taken with my prince in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle in Tokyo Disneyland.
Japan was such an amazing place. We can not wait to finally go back there in 2013. We will be celebrating our first ever white Christmas in the best place in the world.
