I was lucky enough to have my family come and visit me for a week. As they raised me what do you think they like doing as much as me? Searching for treasure at the Camberwell markets of course. How cute is my mum. :)
First thing that caught my eye was this basket of Enid Blyton books. Some children's and some adults. Really good prices too.
Super rad Sega mega drive two. This console came with one of my favorite games of all time. Streets of Rage. In this game you are a tough dude in jeans walking around punching and kicking everyone you see (including tough ladies in cyber punk outfits carrying pipes.) If only I could afford thee this week. :(
A basket of ponys. So pretty and at only $3 each it's a steal for these 80s beautys.
Some of you may not be too familer with this childhood staple. This is a giant extreme dinosaur. These guys came out around the same time as street sharks and were just a bit cooler in my opinion. Their goal is to fight alien/dinosaur dudes that are trying to cause global warming. Ahead of it's time? Maybe.
Hanging out in the sunshine with my rad sister in law Megan while my brother and dad rifle through old Black Sabbath records. What is with those two dudes behind Megan's shoulder? I feel like I'm being watched by M.I.B or something.
After all that fun in the sun it was time to sit down and look at my rad purchses. This is the little pony I chose. She has glittery and rainbow hair. Man I can't wait to take her home and brush that hair.
2 original Polly Pockets. In great condition and a steal at only $6 each... and guess what.
They both had their original Pollys inside. Best thing I've found in ages. You can never get these with the Pollys. People always loose them. Who wants the play set without the doll?
Yet another successful shopping morning out at the Camberwell markets. Now it's time to drink coffee with my beloved family before they head back to Canberra. I miss them already.
