After 8 years sometimes your other half can surprise you. When Liam and I were moving to Melbourne he announced he would be taking photos of every small detail of our trip. "What for?" I asked him with a weird look on my face. "To make a Zine" he replied.
Each panel is a photo of a random moment in our epic journey, paired with text, poetry and scribbles drawn with a white out pen over the top. Sometimes funny, sometimes upsetting, sometimes beautiful but always interesting to look at and remember.
Liam worked his butt off and after 5 long months it was ready. No comment was released and sold at The Sticky Institute in Degraves subway in Melbourne. It was also taken to the Perth zine collective. No comment has all but sold out with only one copy left.
After 8 years I don't think I have ever been prouder of Liam. He tried something different, put himself out there in a totally new place and succeeded. The above panel is my favorite from no comment. It took Liam hours to do every single dot you see.
If you want to grab a copy of No Comment yourself you can e-mail Liam at: firstname.lastname@example.org
And to Liam, you amaze me every single day.
