Oh yeah! It's Sunday and 8am you know what that means? Camberwell markets ahoy! My outfit for the day is called I have no idea what to wear. Star wars shirt (From the kids section at Big w), Brobie shoes and a Wonder Woman hair bow. Man I just had no idea what I was doing. Hahaha At least there is green on my shoes and shirt.
For only a mere $5 I could have purchased this delightful Aragorn clock to hang on my boring bedroom wall. So pretty.
I asked Liam with little stars in my eyes "If I buy this will I look tough like Tony Stark?" Obviously the children's Iron Man costume did not get purchased :(
I was tempted to start collecting robots when I saw this neato collection, but I don't even have enough room in my apartment for my cats as it is.
I have a thing for merchandise from the two 90's Flinstones films. I loved them and the merchandise that came out is all a little creepy. These dolls look so much like the actor's faces, but so cartoonish at the same time. So rad.
The best excuse to buy Playboy ever (If you ever needed one, hehehe). I wonder if it has any interesting articles on comic books.
Such a beautiful game. Escape from Death Star came out in 1977. All the pieces were still inside and it was in great condition. If the guy didn't want to much for it I would have purchased it straight away. A real gem for any Star Wars collector.
I did buy one thing though. I had a super small budget again this week due to too many great comic books coming out, but for $10 I got these super limited Adidas + Muppets Miss Piggy sneakers. This beautiful shoe was released for a short run in 2006. And the ones I got at the market were hardly worn. Great soles, minor scuffs and just a little bit of dirt. Such a fantastic find!
So yet again I left the market happy as a pig in mud with my new sneakers. What is the best thing you guys have ever found second hand?
Don't forget today is the last day to enter the Gail Simone comic book giveaway. Be sure to head to the giveaway page or You Tube to enter. Good luck.
