Oh hey good looking. Want to come for a ride with me on my fluffy pink cloud bed to the most magical second hand marekt of all time? Heck yeah you do!
Melbourne has gotton cold, I mean really cold. Despite this Liam and I get up at 7am every Sunday rain, snow or shine and go to the Camberwell market. It is like a ritual and there is no better feeling than walking around the market, steaming hot coffee in my hand and taking in all the sights and sounds. I mean, what else is there to do at 8am on a Sunday?
This Sunday surpased all other Sundays. We had a crazy strict budget due to my interstate trip in a week, and all around us was awesome. Straight off the bat was this trio of Furby cuteness. I collected furbys for a long time but had to sell them off. They take up so much room and scare the crap out of you at all hours of the night.
This guy has some rad unique things every week like old Mc'Donalds toys and swap cards. This week I spotted this beautiful Spiderwoman #46. Look at that mega punch. Take that Mandroids.
Liam went all weird when he saw these. By this time we were feeling really poor already and then to see a box full of unopened Spawn toys was the cherry on the feeling poor cake. We shall return the weekend I get back from my trip to hopefully find these bad boys. "They will be mine, oh yes. They will be mine"
In this bucket I found the following. 4 Star Trek fiqures, A woody, Ridler, 3 Ninja turtles and a ben10. Too much awesome for one bucket. Always be sure to dig around in toy buckets like this. They are usually well priced and you almost always find something rad.
This is a new collection for me. The set of 5 original Land Before Time puppets. So far I have Spike and Cera so if any of you want to gift me Duckie, Petrie or Littlefoot I will love you forever. I saw these two little cuties, but I only needed Petrie and it cost far too much.
This store was ever so magical. They were collectors just like us. I wanted the original Hulk Hogan action doll so much and Liam wanted thier huge action figure of the Fly. Soo much rad! From this stall I actually got one of the best and most amazing second hand finds of all time. Stay tuned because in the next blog post your mind will be blown.
Yet again we returned home with very litte, I did however finally find this amazing Bart Simpson jumper I've been seeing everywhere for only $19AUS. Crazy awesome.
Stay tuned comic book fans because my next post about my best ever market find will make you wish you were friends with Marty Mcfly so you could go back in time and get it before me.
