Armageddon Expo Melbourne had some of the best cosplay I have ever seen. So many original ideas and incredibly detailed costumes and makeup.
I will forever cherish the moment where myself as Bee and Puppycat got to hang out with Hellboy. Such incredible detail to the makeup, he looked like he'd just stepped out of the film.
This Flash was so beautiful and such an original idea. I loved her entire costume, but those shoes took the cake. I would wear them everywhere.
I flipped out when I ran into this group cosplay of Gravity Falls. I wish I'd gotten a photo of myself with them as well. Each person did a fantastic job from Grunkle Stan's hat to Mabel's adorable jumper. It's the attention to detail that made this cosplay one of my favourites of the day.
I saw this stunning powergirl from halfway down the convention hall and sprinted like a maniac to get this photo. Powergirl is my second all time fave superhero and I'd never met a Powergirl cosplay until now. She looked so strong and glamours.
Beast Boy and Ravin from Teen Titans were adorable. Again I love the attention to detail that they had, even going as far as to have perfectly pink Beast Boy shoes. So rad.
Double the Punisher, Double the trouble. Hehehe. So rad to see two different versions of this well loved vigilante together.
YAY! A lady Darth Vader. This was one of the most original Star Wars cosplays I've ever seen. I love the paint job on the Storm Trooper and Lady Vader's beaded cape detail. What I am sad to see is that they killed Jar Jar Binks. He is my fave Star Wars character. :)
I ran into my fave Melbourne cosplayer who cosplays different versions of Ace Ventura. He looks so magical and I was so excited to take this photo with him. I hope he does the package delivery man from the beginning of Ace Ventura next.
For this Disney fangirl, this was a very memorable moment. Gaston from Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney character and for the first time ever we met face to face. I couldn't wait to show him my tattoo.
Two of the most adorable Ewoks I have ever seen. They were 100% perfect and even spoke a little Ewok.
I was so excited to have my photo with the most epic of wizards Gandalf and Radagast. They looked so incredible and even had magical glowing staffs.
This Fox from The Warriors cosplay was the first Warriors cosplay I have ever seen. I saw the film for the first time this year and fell in love instantly. I was so excited to see someone else who was a fan. He looked so much like Fox in the film.
I still can not get over this incredible Ghost Rider. She must have spent hours on her facepaint alone. She looked so bad ass and radical. I felt like such a little goober standing next to someone so cool.
By far my favourite coplay of the day were these Sooty and Sweep puppets. The two lovely puppeteers made them all by themselves. Sooty had his magic wand and Sweep even squeak talked. By far the most original cosplay I've ever seen.
I had the most incredible time at Armageddon this year. I was to say a huge thank you everyone who came up and said hello and to all the cosplayers who let me take photos.
